So, I'm watching The X-Files for the first time. Honestly? I'm not sure I see what the big deal is, really. I mean, it has it's moments and all, but actually, I've found it to be kind of boring. It also doesn't help that the show is really, really nineties... and not in the cool mix tape, Kurt Cobain, Nickelodeon 90's... I'm talking full blown cheesy Unsolved Mysteries nineties. The last two episodes that I watched, however, captured my interest. Perhaps there's some hope yet.

I saw Die Harder for the first time last night. Not as good as the first one, but, I still enjoyed it quite a bit. Worth the eleven bucks I paid for it at Charlie's. I haven't seen '...With a Vengeance' yet-- but the trailer for 'Live Free or...' looks god damn fucking amazing. I can't WAIT for that shit to come out.

Saw 'Wild Hogs' at Granville, since there were cancellations on 'Hot Fuzz'--  it was mildly amusing. It wasn't mind blowingly funny, or anything.. but, it had me entertained an hour and a half... I suppose that counts for something. Besides, how can you not love William H. Macy, huh? And John Travolta is still hardcore fucking cool, as always.

I took a walk down by the beach today. It was nice. Not much else to say about it. Thank God it's Spring.

Still not sure what feature script I'm ready to proceed with for my next assignment... and I better get with the program, as I only have this week to decide, and determine where I'm going with it. I've got a horror fantasy, and a teen sports comedy to choose from... Could my options BE any different? (I'm going to PITCH Abandon-- but, I'm nowhere NEAR ready to begin writing that yet.) I'm also not sure what the hell I'm going to do for my television pilot yet... I'm still leaning towards that Anti animated series-- but, that's only because it's the only freakin' idea that I've got.

My god, spring break is boring.

i agree brian, the 1st season of x-files is horribly 90's. But you should find a way to watch the middle seasons. The quality gets so much higher, they start lighting it like a movie instead of like Matlock, they use widescreen, and the concepts get more out there, in a good way.
