I've been so damned burnt out lately, I haven't been in the mood to touch my keyboard, let alone update. Oh well. When I get back home, I'm probably not going to write anything for a couple weeks, and let the creativity soak back in naturally-- because all of this 'forcing it' stuff is really starting to kill me, here. I had a workshop the other day on my feature outline-- and after all of the suggestions for changes, it felt like I walked out with a completely different movie. And while that movie was fine and all, it's NOTHING like the one that I wanted to write. It... has football, and takes place in high school. Those are about the only similarities. I may just blow off a lot of the ideas, and base my treatment off of what I originally intended, but, that didn't exactly work for 'Kerouac Days' either. I wasn't going to do 'Abandon', as I didn't feel that I was ready to write it yet-- but, I know that if I do go with it, I'll be able to write what I want-- rather than be expected to rework the whole concept. I'm not sure what my next move is yet.
Reverted back to the black color scheme-- It's a little overused, but, it works better with the new banner that Dave made for me. I'm freakin' in love with it. I'm really digging the tweaks he's making to his art style-- and I hope that it gets him motivated to dish out a couple more comic strips. I should probably help out and write a couple myself... but, being funny with that short amount of set up is really fucking difficult. Thanks again Dave-o Amato.
Still on a Damon Albarn binge, I picked up Gorillaz's 'Slowboat to Hades' -- A compilation DVD of music videos, live performances, interviews, and short cartoons. While it looks good on my shelf next to 'Demon Days LIVE', it was otherwise kind of a waste. Sure, everything on it is great-- But, it's nothing I can't see for free on YouTube. It's a good DVD, just not a good buy. I'm still trying to find his side project 'The Good The Bad and The Queen' -- no luck so far. I'm now working on getting Blur's entire discography-- but they've got several albums... and I'm too lazy to download them.
Tommy T finally hooked me up with 'The Wedding Singer' broadway soundtrack. I never got the chance to see the show, but, I bet it was a lot of fun. There are a couple of 'meh' tracks, but, a lot of them are really fucking catchy. 'It's Your Wedding Day', 'Not That Kind of Thing', and 'Somebody Kill Me Please' are probably my favorites. Who wants to go see a musical when I come home? ...And is there even anything good out right now? (I'd love to see Spamalot again... but, I think tickets are still sold out for infinity. Plus, it's not the original cast. Lame.) I also want to see 'Wicked'-- but, that's probably never happening.
Freddy and I got into a pretty lengthy discussion last night about pubic hair shaving, accidental slicing of the ball sack, and just balls in general. Then he tried to get me to look at a picture of a dude with his balls outside of the sack.. which I never ended up clicking-- because seriously, that's fucking gross. He also tried to get me to click a tubgirl link-- But COME ON. Tub Girl? That's so 2001.
I haven't checked my e-mail, in like, a week. It's probably piling up pretty bad by now. Eh. I'll do it later.

thank god for nortons.
His hair is lighter than mine, and I exaggerate blonde and black hair in my drawings. Though I admit his hair looks brown in a lot of his pictures. I think he takes all his pictures after taking showers or gelling his hair.
Guilty on the showers. Haven't worn gel though, since, like, sixth grade.
Well you used gel when you were putting your hair up for that little while a year or two ago.
